David Wildsmith is an experienced and versatile musician who has been entertaining people for nearly thirty years. He plays many styles of music, including rock, blues, country, R&B, and reggae. He has performed for audiences from 3 to 93 years of age.

David Wildsmith is a guitar player with a wide pallette of sounds at his finger-tips, ranging from sweet violin-like tones to screaming blues. His vocal styles range from Roy Orbison to Bryan Adams. Although he performs a variety of musical styles, his show is highlighted by the music of Carlos Santana and Prince. David also plays his own brand of original pop tunes, which have been likened to Alan Parsons and Bryan Ferry.

Watch out for Dr. Love and the Kissettes. Wearing makeup, David and his Kissettes have performed music by the rock group KISS for audiences of up to 15,000 people.

David was a member of the now defunct bhangra group Dhamak. They have released two recordings, and have performed at Toronto's Harbourfront Festival.

David has played as guitarist or bass player with many tribute artists (look-alikes), including tributes to Madonna, Shania Twain, Billy Joel, Elton John, Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Cher, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, CCR, Hilary Duff, Kelly Clarkson, Ashley Simpson and Avril Lavigne, travelling across Canada and the U.S., as well as to Japan and Trinidad. 

He has shared the stage with or opened for many national touring acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, CCR, Iron Butterfly, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Burton Cummings, The Irish Rovers, Trooper, The Stampeders, Ronnie Hawkins, David Wilcox and Ric Emmett.

David Wildsmith currently performs around the Toronto area solo and with The David Wildsmith Band. David performs as Paul Simon in The Sounds Of Silence and as Carlos Santana in Latin Fever. He also performs with the Eagles tribute band, Hotel California.
